Description

The Space

You have three choices : you can stay in the main building (4 rooms) with a shared bathroom and also with private bathroom.
You can have your private bungalow with private bathroom
Or you can put your tent in our beautiful garden, surrounded by the sea and the lush vegetation of the Caribbean.

Guest Access

Take the boat from Pearl Lagoon, it´s about 20 minutes and costs 50 C$.

Interaction with Guests

Every meal is provided by us and cooked by our families. Here you can discover the traditionnal dishes of our culture.

We can provide you tours in the jungle or in the Pearl Cays with experienced guides, you can also go fishing with our fishermen and discover their traditional way of fishing and boat sailing.

The Neighborhood

In Kahkabila you will be the heart of the Miskito culture. It´s very safe to walk around and you will meet a lot of families and if you have chance, discover some animals (sloths, monkeys, birds, ...) !

Getting Around

No cars in Kahkabila, only horses and cows !

Our project is held by the families, respect the environment and all the funds go to develop our village and our place, Lakia Tara.
